The Brand

Luxe footwear brand Moda in Pelle (“fashion in leather”) was founded in Leeds in 1975 by Stephen Buck, who still owns and manages the business today. There are now more than 40 Moda in Pelle stores and retail concessions across the UK, as well as a thriving webstore where customers can browse and purchase the latest styles.

The Problem

Moda in Pelle had only recently started to harness its social media presence to drive sales, embarking on a strategy to test and scale up Facebook ads in 2018. Throughout 2019, the business wanted to increase its Facebook and Instagram activity further to drive online sales in the most cost-effective way possible.

The Solution

Moda in Pelle’s Facebook ads strategy was based on matching ad types, formats and audiences to different stages of the sales funnel, which would allow the business to systematically attract and engage new customers and guide them over time towards an eventual purchase.
