Last week we attended the Klaviyo K:LDN conference learning all about their brand new platform and technology releases coming this year! As a Platinum Advisor for Klaviyo, we’ve helped countless clients transform their email and SMS marketing strategies by migrating to Klaviyo, allowing them to get the most out of their database. 

Below are our favourite releases from the event!

Intelligence First Platform

Klaviyo are putting intelligence at the forefront of their platform, introducing AI and machine learning to the creation and optimisation of emails. We were super impressed with the demonstration by CEO Andrew Bialecki, showcasing the build of an email with a simple prompt – very much similar to how you would generate responses in Chat GPT. 

Their approach is letting the platform do the heavy lifting of email creation, and the user having more time to focus on strategy and campaigns. 

By using AI, this will help retailers drive more revenue by making complex decisions using insights and data within seconds. 

Reviews In Klaviyo

We’ve all seen review sites but never one integrated into an ESP before. Klaviyo Reviews combines all the great things about showcasing your product reviews to customers, but also generating essential data collection that can be used for segmentation and automation. 

The example given was a skincare brand, with a follow up question in the review for your skin type. The example showed the user select combination skin, then instantly you now have a segment of users all with combination skin for upsell opportunities. 

You can also integrate Reviews into your flows, intentivising repeat purchases and loyalty.

Push Notifications

If your business has an app, you can now manage push notifications through Klaviyo. This is super important when optimisating and planning your messaging cross channel, allowing you to use all the Klaviyo signals to further enhance how you deliver push notifications to your customers. 

Notifications can not only be used for delivering promotions such as sales, offers and new product drops, but can also be used for onboarding new customers, retaining them after downloading your app, driving engagement through regular reminders, and winning back diesngaged users with compelling, personalised offers.

The push notification functionality is now open on Beta to iOS and Android.
